We had an amazing “Good News Club Prep” on Saturday, September 17th, at Central Valley Baptist Church in Meridian. Over 85 volunteers attended to be trained and ready to launch Good News Clubs throughout the Treasure Valley! Almost half of these volunteers are new to this ministry here. The excitement was almost palpable, as we shared the need to get the hope of the Gospel to the children.
As we prepare to start seventeen clubs this fall, my prayer is that more children will be reached here than ever before. Knowing how children are feeling hopeless, lost, depressed, angry, neglected and alone, keeps this passion and calling burning. When a child learns that they are loved, designed, and chosen, their countenance and attitude changes! I’ve seen this over and over, and there is nothing more beautiful! I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation… (Romans 1:16) There is no other way for one to be saved from the despair we live in, but through Jesus.
Please continue to pray for many children to be reached with this free gift of salvation through this ministry this season.
